A mystery film, an heiress in peril, a scheming villain, a cunning and terrifying plan. Count Fernand De Keramic plots against his niece in order to acquire her wealth to pay his debts… Yes, this is an honest-to-goodness melodrama of the Victorian school. Director Leonce Perret crafts a knotty thriller out of old-fashioned ingredients. This finely scripted chef d'œuvre of his Gaumont years keeps the perfect balance between dramatic tension and photogenia.
Since 2023, Räto Kessler (electronics), Ferran Gorrea (saxophone) and Gemma Galeano (saxophone) have been exploring the boundaries of free improvisation together. In their trio, acoustic and electronic sounds merge into a dense, constantly changing soundscape that emerges from moment to moment. Their music plays with textures, dynamics and unexpected sonic encounters – organic and synthetic at the same time. In each concert, the trio unfolds new musical worlds that move between sound exploration and spontaneous interaction.
