The End of the World
Danger looms from outer space. A comet is hurtling towards the earth, share prices are plummeting. Ruthless opportunism is juxtaposed with a sense of social responsibility and class struggle meets science fiction with a strong apocalyptic flavour.
This early disaster film is set to music by noise and performance artist Dave Phillips, whose music defies the omnipresent reduction of life in order to evoke the emotions hidden deep beneath the rubble of this crumbling civilisation.
