An eccentric scientist is obsessed with the idea of huge gold reserves on the moon. Laughed at by the entire scientific community, there is only one person who has enough faith in him to undertake the journey to the moon – along with a friend and his fiancée. This again attracts a dubious group of global businessmen, who wish to get hold of the gold and commercially exploit the moon…

This last silent film of Fritz Lang’s will be accompanied by the Compact Flash Bit Band, a Zurich-based electronic jam-project. Along with a huge assembly of instruments, combining computers, synthesizers, sequencers, drum- and effect machines as well as various exotic instruments, the film soundtrack will be created live and ad hoc according to the rules of improvisation.
The Compact Flash Bit Band consists of Andaloop, Cosili, Dada, Nico Canzoniere, Dario de Nicola and Repos.
